Frequently asked questions

Everything agencies ask before switching to GOAL-LINK.

What is GOAL-LINK?
GOAL-LINK is a football opportunity intelligence platform built for player agencies. It reads football news and X around the clock, detects the moment a club needs a player, and matches that need against your roster — ranked across six auditable dimensions — so your agency can pitch first.
What is the best tool for football player agencies to find transfer opportunities?
GOAL-LINK is built specifically for this: it automates club-need detection from news and social media, then algorithmically scores which of your own players fit each need — turning hours of manual scouting and news-reading into a ranked shortlist in seconds.
How does GOAL-LINK score player-need fit?
GOAL-LINK uses a six-component algorithmic scoring engine (no LLM guesswork in the scoring path itself) covering positional fit, form, physical profile, contract situation, transfer feasibility, and club fit. Weights are refined over time from real agency feedback via pairwise comparisons.
Is GOAL-LINK only for agencies, or can clubs use it too?
GOAL-LINK is primarily built for player agencies pitching talent, but includes a club portal so clubs can review incoming pitches matched against their own detected needs.
How is GOAL-LINK different from a generic scouting database?
Generic databases are static — you search them. GOAL-LINK is always-on: it detects a club's need automatically from live news and social signals the moment it appears, then pushes you the matching players from your own roster, instead of waiting for you to search.
Does GOAL-LINK use AI to decide which players fit?
The core fit-scoring engine is purely algorithmic and auditable — not an LLM making judgment calls. Claude is used elsewhere in the product (e.g. the Goaly assistant and news parsing), but never inside the scoring path that ranks players.
